On the SocialBro dashboard you will find the tool icon. “Best time to tweet” has many charts: when your followers are online, when you get more retweets or replies etc., generated by analyzing your top 100 followers, in this current free version.
The first thing to do is to request the report by clicking the tool icon. The report takes about two hours to be generated. After getting the e-mail we will send to you, you can run SocialBro and click the “Best Time to Tweet” icon again. We cache the report during one week.
Let’s see all charts:
When your followers are online?
Through this heat chart you can see the times of the week when you have more followers online. The larger red spheres show the time when you have more followers online. The black dots symbolize the best time to tweet in the next 24 hours and the best time of the week.
Online followers by hour
This chart shows an aggregate of all week about the hours that your followers are online.
Online followers by day of week
Through this chart you can see how many followers are online grouped by day of week.
Potential exposure by hour and by day of week
These charts show the sum of your Twitter community (followers of your followers) that potentially are listening to your tweets, by hour and by day of the week. The first one, by default, shows the average every day. However, if you want to see the data of a particular day, you just have to click a day at the bottom of the graph. To know the exact number of users just pass the mouse over each point.
When do you get more RTs and replies?
The chart indicates the hours and the days of the week where you get more RTs and replies for your tweets.
Replies & RTs by hour and by day of week
These charts show the sum of replies and RTs that you have by hour and by day of week. If you want to know the data about each hour you just have to click a day at the bottom of the graph.
Reach by hour and by day of week
The charts show the potential reach of your tweets, grouped by hours and by day of week. This potential is calculated by adding all the followers of accounts that have retweeted your tweets.
Tag Clouds
In the tool, you will also see different tag clouds that allow you to answer three questions about your Twitter community:
What are your followers talking about?
Are your followers sharing links about what?
What are your most resonant topics?
Don't forget that you can export to a PDF file all information the tool offers!

ReplyDeleteYou are using an old version. The current version is the 0.2.6. To upgrade the tool go to http://www.socialbro.com and click on “Install now”. On the new dashboard you will see the "Best time to tweet" icon.
ReplyDeleteThe matrix chart is very nice. How colours are choosen (that is, defined)?
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued to know in particular how the best time (that is, the black balls) positions are calculated and which is the difference between them and the red balls.
The black dots symbolize the best time to tweet in the next 24 hours and the best time of the week. And the larger red spheres show the time when you have more followers online. Pass the mouse over the balls to see details!
ReplyDeleteI don't see a reference anywhere to which time zone the graphs are based on. Does SocialBro use the time zone selected in my Twitter settings?
ReplyDeleteTwo things: You're right, there is no info about the time zone in this post. And yes, SocialBro uses the time zone you have in your Twitter settings.
